10-minute Weight-loss Routines

Weight loss does not begin and end with well-planned diets, fitness programs and workouts. You could lose weight by just doing these simple routines that would not demand too much of your time. It is perfect for a modern-day woman who needs to manage her time wisely and effectively. If you really want to lose weight, it is possible no matter how much time your job and responsibilities demand from you. If there is a will, there will always be a way.

Take ten minutes to stop doing anything. Take a break. Pause from life. Usually, weight-loss routines involve lots of movements to burn those unwanted fats. But sometimes, less is more. The reason why you need to take a break is to free yourself from your stresses. Stress releases a hormone that boosts your appetite thus making you want to eat more which springs me to my final point that it would make you gain weight. I rest my case.

So yes, exercise never gets off the list. Try to break a sweat even for just ten minutes. Busy schedules do not equate to no time for fitness. Just because you cannot hit the gym does not mean you cannot exercise. Trying to fit in a few ten-minute exercises a day could be as effective as or even more effective than one whole long workout session.

Try to have at least ten minutes to plan your weight-loss program or idea or project or whatever you call it. In dealing with things like this, one of your greatest weapons would be a well thought-out plan. Remember the saying? If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. So, plan ahead! It pays off.

Take ten minutes to break away from your cravings. Maybe walk outside or find something to do. Yes, they are so hard to resist but you must do it. Do not fall into their sweet seduction and find yourself the casualty of the battle you started yourself. Taking at least ten minutes to free your mind from the urges of those cravings would do a lot. Focus on your goal and do not let any craving stop you.

Go to bed ten minutes earlier. Then the next day, add another ten minutes earlier sleeping time. Sleep is vital in weight loss. You need at least seven hours to consider yourself having the amount of sleep you need. If you do not get the proper amount of sleep, the hormones that control your hunger and thirst would not function effectively and would just make you eat more.

Take at least ten minutes from sitting in front of the television and move a little. A body in motion tends to remain in motion, as well as a body rest tends to remain at rest. It is the Law of Inertia applied in the practical life. Take at least ten minutes to get up and move around the house. Cannot miss any detail about your favorite TV show? Then just get up every commercial break. It pays off.
