It even has flavonoids which protects the heart and prevents certain cancers. Wow.


  • Dark Chocolate-covered Grahams

For this easy and simple yet healthy and yummy recipe, all you need to prepare are four graham cracker rectangles and two tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips. The steps are as easy as 123. Simply microwave the chocolate chips for thirty seconds or until they are fully melted. Then, spread them all over the graham crackers and let cool and harden for about ten minutes. Viola, you have delectable and healthy afternoon snack!


  • Chocolate Soy Egg Cream

All you need are the following: four tablespoons of plain low-fat soy milk, two tablespoons of chocolate syrup, one and a quarter cups of seltzer water, and a pretzel rod for garnish. In a tall glass, stir all together the soy milk and the chocolate syrup. Afterwards, pour in the seltzer water, then stir. You may garnish your awesome chocolate drink with a pretzel rod if you wish to.

For your well-loved classic, prepare the following ingredients: two and a quarter cups of flour, a teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of salt, one and a half cups of canola oil, a three-fourths cup of brown sugar, a three-fourths cup of granulated sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, two beaten eggs, two cups of semisweet chocolate chips, and a cup of chopped pecans.

First, preheat the oven to three hundred and seventy five degrees Fahrenheit. Then, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Beat together the oil, sugars, and vanilla in another bowl until creamy. Beat in the eggs. Add the flour mixture gradually. Then, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Afterwards, roll into small balls then flatten slightly onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Put it into the oven and bake for about nine to eleven minutes or until the edges turn golden brown. You may put into the freezer the extra mixture and bake some other time.


  • Bittersweet Brownies

For this big and fudgy treat, prepare: a large egg, an egg white, three tablespoons of plain non-fat yogurt, one and a half teaspoons of pure vanilla extract, one and a half cups of sugar, a one-thirds cup of canola oil, a half teaspoon of sea salt, a quarter cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, three ounces of chopped high-quality unsweetened baking chocolate, and one-third cup each of unbleached all-purpose flour and buckwheat.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly coat an 8-inch square non-stick baking pan with cooking spray. In a small bowl, whisk egg, egg white, yogurt, and vanilla extract. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, oil, salt, and three tablespoons of water, and stir constantly forthree minutes over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa and chocolate until it melts. Then add egg mixture. Add all flour and stir until batter is smooth. Pour batter onto baking pan. Bake for twenty five minutes. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into squares.
