This yummy food is not simply all deliciousness. It is also a perfect food on the go and is super easy to make and requires just four ingredients. Wow, isn’t this perfect for an oh-so busy woman like most of us?
Just have these ingredients ready: a toasted bagel thin, two tablespoons of peanut butter, a sliced banana, and a half tablespoon of chia seeds.
How to make this awesome sandwich? It is really simple. Just spread the peanut butter all over the bagel thin, top with sliced bananas, and finish off with a sprinkle of chia seeds. It is that simple!
- Peanut Butter Granola
This is another super easy to make peanut butter recipe that would be needing ingredients you could easily find at home.
Prepare the following ingredients: two tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, two tablespoons of honey, a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a cup of oats.
First, preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray the cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside. Then, in a bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey, and then microwave until the peanut butter melts which would take about twenty seconds. Stir. Then, stir in the vanilla and cinnamon into the peanut butter mixture. Add oats then stir until the oats are fully covered with the peanut butter. Spread oat the oats onto the cookie sheets and bake until granola is slightly browned which would take about seven to eight minutes. Let cool until the granola is crunchy.
- Peanut Butter Protein Bars
For those who want to satisfy their peanut butter craving while on the go, better have some of these babies to come in handy. Plus, it gives the body a super protein boost!
Prepare the following ingredients: a one-third cup each of honey and brown sugar, a cup of creamy peanut butter, a half cup of crunchy peanut butter, a teaspoon of cinnamon, five cups of bran flakes, a one-third cup of ground flaxseeds only if you want some, and a cup of chopped Craisins.
First, put the honey on a large pot over medium heat. Add in the sugar and stir until the sugar is melted and the mixture begins to bubble. Add in the cinnamon and stir until the cinnamon is dissolved. Add in the peanut butter and stir until the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, and then mix in the bran flakes, flax, and Craisins. Press firmly onto an 8×8 pan lined with a foil that overlays at the end. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Cut into squares and savor the goodness. If you want an additional protein punch, you may add in protein powder. Also, you may substitute a cup of granola and four cups of bran flakes to the five bran flakes.
