Call up a friend and play chess, solve Sudoku and crossword puzzles, learn a new skill like playing an instrument, answer quiz games online, and read, read, read.

Another way is to make sure that you are getting enough of the nutrients your body needs. Eat healthy. Fruits and veggies are high in antioxidants. The darker the green veggie, the better. Cold-water fishes like salmon and mackerel are rich in omega-3. Nuts are a good source of vitamin E. Women who eat mostly dark green leafy vegetables had the thinking ability of slightly younger women. It means that they have younger and more efficient minds.
